Talk instantly. Stay connected. Work smarter.
Imagine being able to talk to your team instantly, no delays, no fumbling with your phone, just one press of a button. That’s exactly what the VoicePing Flex USB-C Push-to-Talk (PTT) Earpiece delivers.
Built for security, logistics, retail, and hospitality teams, this earpiece transforms your smartphone into a professional walkie-talkie. With its USB-C connector, airtube earpiece, built-in mic, and true push-to-talk button, you’ll experience reliable, hands-free communication wherever you go.
What makes Flex unique is its 3 interchangeable listening earpieces. You can swap between three different earbud styles for maximum comfort, hygiene, and durability, a big upgrade over standard earpieces that lock you into a single design.

With its USB-C connector and true Push-To-Talk (PTT) button, the earpiece works seamlessly with popular walkie-talkie apps like Zello, VoicePing, and Microsoft Teams, giving professionals a fast, reliable way to communicate on the go.
It also supports PTT across additional team communication apps such as Beartooth, ESChat, Tassta, Unity Intercom, Orion, Zebra, and TeamConnect (compatibility varies by Android/iOS, as shown in the chart).
This broad compatibility ensures dependable performance across a wide range of modern walkie-talkie and team communication platforms.
What Makes Flex Different?
Unlike standard earpieces that lock you into one style, VoicePing Flex includes 3 interchangeable listening options so you can always match your comfort, environment, and work needs:

1. Air Tube Earpiece
Best for: Security, surveillance, events, or formal setups.
Why choose it: Discreet, professional look with minimal visibility. Lightweight for all-day wear. The clear tube reduces snagging if you’re moving in and out of jackets or uniforms.

2. C- Hook Earpiece
Best for: General staff, facility workers, and roles that don’t require a covert profile.
Why choose it: Simple, rugged, and affordable. Holds steady during movement and sweat, making it ideal for active jobs without needing full concealment.

3. G- Hook Earpiece
Best for: Outdoor teams, logistics, or physically demanding roles.
Why choose it: A sturdierhook design gives extra stability during bending, turning, or heavy movement. Offers better comfort for long shifts while staying secure.
Why Teams Choose VoicePing Flex

Zello Configuration Support
Set up your PTT (Push-to-Talk) Earpiece with the Zello app by following the steps below. These instructions cover both Android and iPhone (USB-C) models.
For Android Devices
Connect the PTT earpiece to your phone’s USB-C port.
Open the Zello App.
Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner → select Options → Settings → Push-to-Talk Buttons.
Tap ( + ) Add Button.
When prompted, press the PTT button on your earpiece.
Zello will automatically detect and assign it as your Push-to-Talk control.
Once configured, join a channel or contact a user to test your setup.
Tip: If Zello doesn’t detect your button, unplug and reconnect the earpiece, or restart the app.
For iPhone (USB-C Models, e.g. iPhone 15 and newer)
Zello usually works out of the box on iPhone, but if the PTT earpiece isn’t responding, follow these steps:
Open the Zello App.
Set an on-screen PTT button first to confirm audio and mic are working. Make sure you hear sound through the earpiece and your voice is recorded using the earpiece mic (not the phone’s built-in mic).
Go to Menu (☰) → Settings → Push-to-Talk Buttons → Headset Button.
Choose “Headset” or “PTT Headset” - both options should work.
(Optional) Add a default contact or channel for quick testing.
Note: If the app doesn’t detect the PTT button, try restarting Zello or reconnecting your earpiece.
Troubleshooting: VoicePing USB-C PTT Earpiece (for Android & iPhone)
If your VoicePing USB-C PTT Earpiece is not working correctly on your device, please follow these diagnostic steps to identify the issue.
Step 1: Check Audio Output
Connect the USB-C Earpiece
Play a YouTube video or a music file.
✅ If you hear sound through the earpiece: the speaker is working correctly.
❌ If you hear sound from the phone speaker: the phone may not be detecting the USB-C audio device. Try reinserting the plug or testing on another phone.
Step 2: Check the Microphone
Open the Recorder app (the default Recording App).
Tap the Record to start a voice note.
Blow gently into the earpiece microphone.
Replay the recording.
✅ If you hear the blowing sound - the microphone is working.
❌ If you don’t - the phone may still be using its built-in mic instead of the earpiece mic.
Step 3: Test the PTT Button
Open your Walkie Talkie or PTT App.
See if there are any settings for Earpiece or PTT Accessories support.
Press and Hold Down the PTT button on the earpiece.
If Google Assistant or another app opens, your phone is detecting the button press. You might need to disable these apps for your Walkie Talkie App to work.
If nothing happens, your phone may not support analog PTT button input over USB-C.
Note: Some phones, such as the Moto G04, display a “device not supported” message for analog USB-C accessories. In this case, the audio and mic may work, but the PTT button may not be recognized.
Step 4: Test with the VoicePing App
Download the VoicePing App from Play Store or App Store
Repeat Step 3
On VoicePing iPhone App, there is a Red/Blue earphone indicator when PTT Earpiece is detected. Restart app if you see Red earphone indicator.
On VoicePing Android App, there is a small popup when PTT Earpiece is detected.
Step 5: If the PTT Button Still Doesn’t Work
Try another USB-C Android smartphone or iPhone 15 and newer.
If the earpiece mic and speaker work but the PTT button doesn’t, the issue may be phone hardware compatibility.
