VoicePing Device Lifetime License

No extra cost. No recurring subscription.

Included in Hardware Purchase Price for Free. 

Commercial customers can use VoicePing Single User License (Tied to Identifier of Android Device) to assign a license to an Android device instead of to a user.

This device-based license is designed to simplify management and billing for VoicePing Partners and Enterprise Customers on devices sold by Manufacturer.

Requirements

The end customer needs to be a new customer and the license has to be activated with a new device. This program is limited to Partnered Manufacturers only and has to be approved on a case by case basis.

Inclusions

Upgrades to VoicePing are granted automatically for 12 months from the date of purchase. Licenses can be moved to another device within the original device warranty period.

Provisioning

As the license is applied to a device, some special considerations for provisioning the license is required.

New License

Please install and login VoicePing on the new device using the provided account. Thereafter please email to customer@smartwalkietalkie.com the following information.

  1. Username of the VoicePing Account

  2. New Device IMEI

  3. New Device Original Invoice and Warranty period

Repair during Warranty - No move required

If the device has not been factory reset and the original Identifier is still in used, no action needs to be taken. There will be no warnings shown. You can continue to login and use the user account as normal on the same device.

Factory reset due to warrantied repair or user action 

If the device has been factory reset and the original Identifier has been resetted, a validation has to be undertaken via VoicePing customer support. VoicePing Customer support has to move the device license to the new device. Please install and login VoicePing on the new device using the same account. Please email to customer@smartwalkietalkie.com the following information.

  1. Username of the VoicePing Account

  2. Old Device IMEI

  3. Old Device Original Invoice and Warranty period

  4. One Video showing the IMEI of the Old Device and the logged in VoicePing Account

Replacement under Warranty

If the original device is not returned and a replacement was sent, validation has to be undertaken via VoicePing customer support. VoicePing Customer support has to move the device license to the new device. Please install and login VoicePing on the new device using the same account. Please email to customer@smartwalkietalkie.com the following information.

  1. Username of the VoicePing Account

  2. Old Device IMEI

  3. Old Device Original Invoice and Warranty period

  4. Proof of repair leading to a replacement device

  5. New Device IMEI

  6. One Video showing the IMEI of the New Device and the logged in VoicePing Account

Out of Warranty Repairs or Replacement

If a proof of warranty is not provided or warranty period has lapsed, the License moving will not be granted. The Customer is advised to purchase a new license for the new device or repaired device out of warranty.

Transition from subscription licensing device-based licensing

If VoicePing is already installed and activated with user-based subscription licensing, you will need to reset the license state on the device before it will transition over to device-based licensing.
